Ahmad yaghoobnezhad, PhD, the chancellor of the Islamic Azad University – North Tehran Branch congratulated on the new Persian year and the coming of spring. In his message, he states:
“Following the Supreme Leader’s command about being innovative, the Islamic Azad University – Tehran Northern Branch has made in front the promotion of scientific and research works in the past year. However this year this university has been able to appropriate platform for enhancement of education, research and culture. Perhaps the most important part of the performance of the unit is the significant growth in the construction of Hakimiyeh Site. The 25-percent progress of the Management and Social Science Faculty and 20-percent for the Humanities Faculty have been impressing.
In the context of building space for the university, we strengthened the industrial sector and the agreement and the ratification conventions were scheduled.
On the other hand, there were a 30-percent growth in ISI articles, increase in the number of scientific publications up to 19, the establishment of the third doctoral level, the launch of student-online -registration system, commissioning unit database information and the percentage growth of 40 indicators of cultural and business units. We stepped from 1742 units total score to 2136 points only in the first half last year.
Finally, as well as congratulating the new year, it is my duty to thank all the efforts of all authorities, hard-working unit managers, members of respected Faculty and students.
